Here’s one example:

TPI research has shown that one of the most common swing faults is early extension. Over 64% of golfers early extend, which means their hips and spine straightens up too early on the downswing. This results in loss of posture and less than optimal contact.

The physical causes of early extension might be stiff muscles and joints in the lower body, reduced spinal mobility or reduced gluteal and abdominal strength.

TPI developed screens to assess these physical causes and exercises to address those that your body might exhibit.
