FAQFrequently asked questions

Do I need to have X-rays taken?

A chiropractor’s primary concern for your health and well-being is to allow for proper functioning of your nervous system so that every organ and tissue performs optimally and remains healthy. The central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) is protected inside the skull and spinal column. All of the nerves that control and coordinate every function of your body enter the spine through 24 pairs of holes that allow the peripheral nerves to connect to the central nerves.

If the nerves are compromised from spinal misalignments, postural disturbances and/or scoliosis it is very important to know exactly where they are so a proper care plan can be designed for your health and well being.

With the help of x-rays, we can evaluate the health of your spine and derive an accurate diagnosis.

Do I have to follow your schedule of visits for chiropractic care?

As an experienced Better Spine Sports & Rehab we fully understand that you have the right to take care of your body any way you see fit, but in order to correct the problems that have created your health complaint a strategic scheduling of chiropractic adjustments will allow the body is greatest chance to heal.
It is sometimes best to look at someone who is trying to lose weight or increase their muscle mass. In the beginning if you only dieted once a week or went to lift weights one time per week, it is obvious to see that you will fail at achieving your desired outcome.

Natural chiropractic healing takes time and it requires a patient whose priority is getting well. Each visit is strategically designed to build upon the last and for this reason all appointments should be according to the doctors care plan recommendations. If for some reason you have to miss an appointment, it is highly recommended to make up that visit within the next seven days.
